At Finca Bonelli's Eagle, Jane prepares delicious food - all home made and specially prepared with the freshest ingrediants from the local market and stores.

Jane has trained in some of the worlds finest kitchens including the Savoy and the QE2.

An example of some of the regularly prepared dishes is below, however Jane is happy to cater to any individual needs or tastes - please just ask.

 

Example Dinner Menu (15 €, includes bottle of red or white wine per couple and coffee afterwards)...

 

STARTERS
  • Homemade tomato and basil soup
  • Homemade pork and liver pate wrapped in a bacon parcel
  • Prawn cocktail
  • Galicia mussels cooked with garlic and white wine
all served with fresh five grain bread
 
MAIN COURSE
  • Rump or sirloin steak (3 euros extra) served with mixed mushrooms and potato wedges cooked at your table (depending on group size)
  • Steak and kidney pie served with mashed or new potatoes and glazed vegetables
  • Paella for four cooked on olive wood with ingredients to your taste
  • White filet of fish or chicken breast encrusted with a savoury topping (a friend's recipe from his restaurant on the Scilly Isles)
 
DESSERTS
  • Fresh pineapple upside down pudding
  • Authentic Bakewell tart
  • Homemade lemon meringue
  • Fresh fruit with either custard, ice cream or whipped cream
